Sometimes screaming feels good and fills the lungs, and if you need to scream for a bit, lunch break is a good time to do it.

After the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, I imagined everyone at my work stopping for a moment and screaming. I even asked some people at my work to scream with me and about 25 of us screamed for a moment. A week later, as part of Convening on the Commons at the Queens Museum (2018), I asked a small group of participants to scream about what needs to change. Each time we screamed around 1:30.

In the last two years I thought a lot about what needs to change. The political climate that fermented all kinds of attempts to weaken the Republic. And now I’m worried about money, so I made for us some extra. I wish it could help.
